Coco's Cafe
For the Coco’s Cafe branding project, I set out to create a visual identity that felt as warm and inviting as a fresh cup of boba. Since this is a Taiwanese cafe, I leaned into cultural symbols that represent heritage and hospitality. The centerpiece of the primary logo is a playful Maneki-neko (beckoning cat), which I surrounded with a delicate arrangement of plum blossoms—the national flower of Taiwan. By combining these traditional elements with a bold, high-contrast yellow and black palette, I created a modern mark that stands out on everything from storefront signage to boba cup sleeves.

Beyond the primary logo, I developed a series of secondary patterns and variations specifically designed for the cafe's drink packaging and social media presence. These designs explore different moods and seasonal themes, such as a soft teal featuring delicate butterflies and a vibrant "Sakura" pink that highlights the elegance of flowering branches. I also experimented with abstract, swirling floral compositions in warm orange tones to provide the brand with a flexible visual toolkit. This variety ensures the packaging remains fresh and engaging while maintaining a cohesive, artistic touch that celebrates Taiwanese culture across every customer touchpoint.
